How CSTradeHub handles your information. This is a plain-language summary of what the site does.

What we collect

Steam sign-in. When you sign in, Steam confirms your SteamID to us. We store your SteamID and, when available, the public display name and avatar from your Steam profile. Steam handles your password; we never receive it.
What you post. Trades (the items, wear, note), comments and offers, and, if you choose to add one, your Steam trade URL. Trades, comments and your display name are public.
Your inventory. If you use “My inventory” when posting, we load your public CS2 inventory from Steam to show it to you. It is cached briefly to avoid hitting Steam's limits.
Server logs. Like most websites, the server and its host may log technical details such as IP address, browser and the pages requested.

Cookies and local storage

A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in. It is only set after you sign in and is needed for the site to work.
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage.
Ad providers set their own cookies if ads are shown (see below).

Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, which can include ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites, and to measure how ads perform. We do not give advertisers your name, SteamID or the content of your trades.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can manage or opt out of personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google shows its own consent message so you can choose how ad cookies are used.

Third parties

Trading itself happens on Steam, and item images and prices come from Steam and public item databases, so those services may receive your IP address when your browser or our server contacts them. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with it.

Your choices and contact

You can edit or delete your own trades and comments on the site. For any question or request about your information, email [email protected].
